The TCS music program had their first performance since before the pandemic this past wednesday! Driven by student interest Mr. Paul Giess decided it was time to showcase the students talents. The drum class, Henry and Daniel, opened up the performance with two short drum jams. Umar, Mitchel and Colin all shared compositions they produced on the computer. Umar also performed a Karaoke version of one of his favorite songs. One ensemble, made up of William, Jeffery, Grace and Kristian jammed over “we will rock you” and “Hot cross buns”, allowing them to have fun with music while implementing new musical skills. Rhe other ensemble comprised of Chris, LaSabien and Ryan (Mr. Paul subbed for Ryan) performed some of their favorite hip hop instrumentals. Finally the concert ended with this ensemble accompanying Mr. Schullery’s singing Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry.”
